I believe God gave me a heart to love and care for people. Working at Envision Fitness allows me to do that everyday. I aim to redefine health and help our members become the best and most authentic version of themselves. Being physically healthier is a catalyst as it will improve social, mental, and spiritual health in the process. Improving the health and confidence in our members will allow them to lead a more fulfilled life in work and play. Bringing the joy of life to our members brings me fulfillment in my work.

Absolutely nothing. Does that qualify?

I was an active kid growing up. I gravitated toward soccer which became my competitive athletic focus. At age 17 I started cross training in a gym to supplement my soccer and I fell in love. I began training in CrossFit and Olympic lifting and eventually became a certified CrossFit coach. In the process I ended up having some health problems which opened my eyes to the impact that both training and nutrition can have on healing. It was at that point that I decided to look to make health and fitness my career path. After completing my Bachelors of Human Kinetics with a Psychology minor, I went on to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Always learning, I am currently working on my level 2 Precision Nutrition certification.

Athletics never came easy to me. I wasn’t naturally gifted, but I was stubborn. I started from the bottom and worked my way to the top. I never missed a practice and was the first to put in the extra work when a coach was willing to help. If I didn’t make the cut I would contact the coach and find out what I could do better so that I could work at it. Hard work paid off. I got better, started making teams and won some championships along the way that I am very proud of. Looking back, I am most proud of my persistence and determination after being rejected repeatedly.

I’d be Super Girl. Isn’t it obvious? We’re basically doppelgangers. Blonde hair, blue eyes… close enough. What I truly admire about Super Girl is her ability to remain humble regardless of power she possesses. She also has an incalculable amount of strength and I’d like to think that my strength (physical, mental, and spiritual) also has limitless potential.
